About Dr. Gustavo H. Leibaschoff
Dr. Leibaschoff obtained his medical degree and completed his OB-GYN residency
at the Buenos Aires University in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1972.
He has been dedicated to working and teaching in
the fields of Aesthetic Medicine (non-invasive treatments) and Cosmetic Surgery,
specializing in the field of Lipoplasty
for more than two decades.
He is
a member and leader of
several well known professional and educational societies around the world.
Dr. Leibaschoff is well qualified and has high renown in the medical and
paramedical world alike. Currently, he resides as a member of the American
Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a ‘Member of Honor’ of the Australian College of
Cosmetic Surgery; he was the founding member and first president of the
Argentine Aesthetic Medicine Association and the former professor of the
Postgraduate School in Aesthetic Medicine at the Medicine School in the
University of Buenos Aires. He has participated as ‘Faculty Member’ in many
international scientific and professional congresses and has authored numerous
publications in prestigious and widely variant scientific journals. Most
recently, he Co-authored the book Pathophysiology of Cellulite. Continuing
Medical Education and training is his main goal, as he states,
"There is no other way to have the best and safest results for patients
than the learning experience for the medical professional. Happy and healthy
patients will be the reward."

He was trained in the early days of Liposculpture by Dr.
Pierre Fournier as his mentor.
From that point he explored all different techniques
like ultrasonic liposculpture,
Laser liposculpture, Vibration
cannulas, etc.
His incessant travels around the world allows him a
first hand contact with new and different development.
He is a member and leader of
several well known professional and educational societies
around the world.
He is the President of the International Union of Lipoplasty
and Chairman of the International School of Lipoplasty
“Dr Pierre Fournier”.
He has participated as one of the "Fathers
of Lipoplasty" at the
International Workshop “30 years of liposculpture“
in Rome, Italy in October,
2006.

He was trained personally by Dr. Michel Pistor in 1982 and
he has been performing mesotherapy
since that time. He has done over
30,000 mesotherapy procedures over the past 20 years using
it as a therapeutic tool in the field of aesthetics and
phlebology pathologies. He have been lecturing and teaching
across the world the mesotherapy technique and its
philosophy.
He was the founder and former President of the Argentinean
Mesotherapy Association, the first one in All America
and founder and former President of the Argentinean
Aesthetic Medicine Society.
He has
also been
a Faculty Member in many international scientific and
professional congresses. He has
authored numerous publications in prestigious and widely
variant scientific journals.

He was trained by
Dr. Sulamanidze
in Moscow, Russia in 2000. Since then he has been delivering
courses and training medical doctors on threads around the
world with this
methodology (USA, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican
Republic, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile,
Argentina, Australia, New Zeeland, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain,
Greece, Israel and many others).
He has been
developing this technique
for over 7
years, which he has improved in
efficiency and security since the original one by Dr.
Sulamanidze.
He has done more than 1,500 procedures with threads using
around 15,000 threads with excellent results.
